GULAG IV was the fourth The Gulag Fight event: it was held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Jowke Club in Alcorcón (Madrid), and once again sold out: a thousand people inside. With it, the promoter adds four editions and four sell-outs. A 100% sell-out rate since day one.
It is not a statistic to brag about in a photo. It is proof that in Madrid there are people who want to see real fights, with high-level competition, in a place where the night can continue afterward. And it is proof that the format works.
Four events, four sell-outs
To understand what happened on October 17, you have to look back. The Gulag Fight started in February 2026 and hasn't stopped:
- GULAG I, February 7, 2026, Sala Cats (Madrid). Sold out in eight days.
- GULAG II, April 11, 2026, Sala Cats (Madrid). Sold out in four days.
- GULAG III, June 19, 2026, Jowke Club (Alcorcón). Sold out, with the ring set up over a pool and more than 1,500 spectators according to Pozuelo IN.
- GULAG IV, October 17, 2026, Jowke Club (Alcorcón). Sold out, with a thousand people.
No edition has ever had tickets left at the box office. GULAG IV is the second at Jowke and confirms that the move to Alcorcón was no stroke of luck.
Why Jowke again
Jowke Club is on San Martín de Valdeiglesias Avenue in Alcorcón, just outside Madrid. It is a large club, with space to set up a proper ring and for the audience to surround it. GULAG III proved that the venue can handle a big event, with a lot of people and the party continuing afterward at the same location.
Repeating the venue has a clear advantage for those who come: they know where they are going, how to get there, and how the night unfolds. And it also counts for the fighters: the ring, the audience, and the production are already proven.
What GULAG IV means for the road to the belt
In The Gulag Fight, there is no ranking or points. There is a path. Whoever wins keeps their spot for the next event. Whoever loses does not return. With three victories, the fighter takes the GULAG belt. It is the house motto: "King of the ring, whoever loses does not return."

That is why each event does not stand alone. Those who won at GULAG IV have their spot reserved for the next one. Some already have more than one victory under their belt, and that makes GULAG V a night with unfinished business. This is how a story is built that the audience follows from one edition to the next, and not isolated fights that are forgotten the next day.
Fighters for fighters
The promoter's new motto summarizes where all this comes from. The Gulag Fight was founded by Enrique Sanchiz, former kickboxing and K1 fighter and now K1 coach, and Iván Rueda, active kickboxing and muay thai fighter. People who have been inside the ring and know what a fighter needs: a serious card, rivals at their level, an audience that pushes them, and an organization that delivers.
Beyond the ring: the community
A sell-out is not achieved with a good card alone. Behind it is a community that has grown along with the events. The @thegulag.fight Instagram account has surpassed 1.2 million views, and the press has already taken notice: AS, VIP Deportivo, and Pozuelo IN have reported on what happens at GULAG.
That community also dresses in GULAG. The official clothing, with the shield on the front and the laurel wreath on the back, is available in The Gulag Fight store. If you want the one seen most at the events, check out the black sweatshirt or the black t-shirt. Shipping is free on orders over €45.
And now, GULAG V
The next one is GULAG V. It does not have an announced date yet, and we are not going to make one up: it will be announced first on Instagram, at @thegulag.fight. If you have seen how the first four went, you already know what happens when tickets go on sale.
What we can say is what will not change: real fights, whoever loses does not return, and the night continues afterward in the same room. If you have never come to an event, start with our guide on boxing events in Madrid. And if you have any questions, write to us.
All the events, the next one and the previous ones, are on the The Gulag Fight events page.
